Genealogy affects us all. We all had (and some still have) parents: two biological; and some of us have had additional parents such as step- and adoptive. We all had (and some still have) grandparents: most of us had four biological grandparents, and some had other grandparents as for parents.

The 81,000+ articles and 100,000 other pages on the Genealogy Wikia ("Familypedia") help us and our surviving ancestors and descendants (current and future) to know whence we came and therefore part of who we are.

Some of YOUR blood relatives have their own pages on the site. You can have one too (in addition to your User page), with automatically-created links to pages for your parents, grandparents, and so on. Your nephews and nieces may thank you for those pages one day.
